how far in is it broken?
i'm assuming you can't get plies on it, but have you tried the needlenose vice-grips?
and then if you have a realy thin punch or something, put it in the flutes and hit it lightly with a hammer clockwise
i've broken so damn many taps

yeah, as long as you know the proper way to tap its ok, but the funny part is one of the senior members who has been doing this for years did it today
there was no way to get it out, so i had to grind the plug off, and weld the bitch all back together.
he is still working on it, its been quite a project
