trying too

we are thinking on going with dual stage air shocks, but they are way more progressive than a typical gas shock with springs

and when it comes down to it, i dont know too much about this stuff, but we are all putting our heads and resources together for this shit.

i calculated, from a 10' drop, we have 4000lbs per wheel, , that is 11 g's right there. that would be worst case senario, but i have to keep in mind from that jump, our shocks are wayyy bottomed out by that time, and our bodies and the frame is taking the rest after the tires and shocks/springs

JCR (Jimmy Cope Racing) in Pinellas park dynos all of my coilover kits. They have a Roering shock dyno. The address is 4951 71st ave n PP, florida 33781
I think this is their phone number: 727-521-2480 I never call them, I just stop by. Tell Jimmy, Patrick, the road racer, sent you.... They just rebuilt my head and dyno'd a coilover kit for me.

alright man, thanks

i want to get the set up we had last year dynoed to see how much of a change we can really get

but i really dont want to spend the fucking 2100 dollars if the change will be neglidgable, if for some fucked up reason this year we cant run the air shocks, ill be able to change the suspension geometry next year for them.

as we speak, im welding up the main A arms, its the shock mounting point im trying to figure out where to put it

^You've seen that Race Car Vehicle Dynamics book in the SAE garage, right? It's a thick green book, I'm in there reading through it from time to time. It should have something in there about damper setups. Ask Ryan, he's read though that book pretty well.
