how in the hell do you miss a shift.

most gear misses have alot to do with either bad syncros causing the gear not to go in at all times, or people trying to shift too fast and not having good timing with your hand-foot coordination.

i miss them all the time, not because im a poor driver. i just dont focus on shifting and i am lazy and dont push my clutch to the floor always lol. when im on it and going hard i rarely miss shifts, but it happens

Anyone who has ever owned a 5spd 5.0 Mustang has missed the 2-3 shift at some point.

I usually only have trouble when trying to downshift to 3rd, about 33% of the time I put it in first, or hit the gate. not too fun. lol.

I've missed gears before but I don't do it often. Once in a blue moon it happens but I can go weeks, months of driving before it happens. Now those who did it all the time just suck at driving and need to learn how to drive stick properly.
