Default Help on a hybrid swap....

Ok, I'm contemplating doing a hybrid swap, and I'm sure it's been done...but I haven't been able to find anything about it on the internet. I want to take a AE86 coupe, and throw away the 4AC it has right now, and put in a KA24 with plans of turbo'ing it. Yeah, that's right, a turbo KA into a corolla. Just wondering if the crossmember needs to be modified at all, how hard would wiring be, and yes I did think about the fact that a stock sr-5 rear-end wouldn't hold up to that kinda power... I was thinking maybe a gt's rear-end, although I have heard they aren't good for more than 200HP?? Just looking for thoughts on this swap, how hard you think it might be, and approximately how much it might cost?

SR is way more expensive. KA's are so easy to get ahold of. Plus 2.4 liters, in my opinion, is better...and then add on a turbo to that? In my opinion, it would be bad-ass, I'm just trying to get an idea on what kinda work is involved before I really get myself into something thats way over my head.

Engine bay is big enough to hold it, I've seen 1jz's into a corrolla with twin turbos intact, and no modification to the engine bay itself.

IMO the 4age 20v motor is better for that car. 165 hp stock. Than you can boost it and build it they make bad ass power. also the Power-to-weight ration on the 4AGE is better.

BUt if thats what you wanna do, cool i always like to something diffrent done. 1
