IBTL, there is another juan pablo thread, but we didn't know he was driving for chimp ganassi, good info, and yeah, no larger fan base is needed, and i don't think his fans would "fit in"

 

It's a lot tougher to stay on top than it is to get there. For that reason NASCAR is constantly looking to expand it's fan base. They'd love to get some black drivers but none of the black businesses are willing to fork over the required cash. Apparently Oprah, BET and Jesse's Rainbow have more important investment opportunities.

Nascar has already had 2 busch races in Mexico. With JPMs huge latin fan base it would be good for Nascar and would help them expand south of the border. also some forget that Tony Stewart drove open wheel for a few seasons. JPM to me has the perfect attitude and will to win for nascar.
