tried the key jiggle and repeatedly turning the wheel
tried putting wd-40 on the key and in the cylinder
tried using the shift lock override to shift the car in nuetral and repeatedly step 1.
tried pushing in the pin(that releases the cylinder) with alot of force to see if it will break free
got desperate and tried to use a good ole fashion flat head screw driver.
It might be time to try a locksmith

My blazer is the same way. It's a great feature. Battery dies while I'm at work, get out and try to start it, say, whoops, battery is dead. Oh good, I cant get the key out now. Guess I didnt want to lock the doors as I try to find help.

I meant me personally with my experiences, not that era of Toyotas in general. I havent heard it happen often with Supras and Corollas anyways

Good friend of mine has a 91 Camry...turns the key to start it then pulls it out

Also, graphite is the magical stuff you are supposed to use for locks...dunno why, but it definetly works well. Spray some in all of your locks like once a year.
