American cars FTL...

Oh wait, I own a fox

Eh, when it comes to the whole buy American thing nothing really impresses me at the moment, I wouldn't mind a 99-04/05-06 Mustang GT though, I do think they are nice cars in their own respect, just as long as they aren't built in Canada or Mexico... I buy cars that I like, there is nothing that is really decently priced that is not an import, I love Corvette's but for 50k+ I won't waste my time on a C6, maybe an older C5.

Oh and 2kSnakeater I find it funny that you diss imports, yet you own TWO Toyota Celica's, it doesn't matter if they were used when you bought them the person gave the money for them to Toyota.

If GM/Ford/Chrysler could make something that is fun and great to drive that has a decent interior that is decently quick (turbocharged) then yes I will buy it if I like it. The SRT-4 for example, great car for the price but FWD, useless, if I buy American it better be either a turbo 4 or a nice 8 that is RWD, not no FWD, leave FWD to the imports.

An effective debating technique is to overload the opposition with more than they can reply to, in the time available.

Competition is the American Way; win or lose.

There is more to the story, as Paul Harvey says.-Bob

what it all comes down too, build something people want in an automobile and im pretty sure theyll buy it.Gm trucks are some of the best selling most reliable in the world. why gm cant do that with their vehicles is beyond my understanding.

ford also, they have some of the best vehicles in europe, but seem to not understand what people want in america.

why buy american when you can buy something better? or vice versa...

you dont see people running to mitsu dealerships do you?

build the cars we want and well buy them, simple as that regardless of where they are made .

people buying japanese cars arent the ones hurting the economy.

its companies that dont understand the market that keeps on shelling out less then averages vehicles are.

I'd buy foreign, or american. AS much as I dont want to see large companies like ford and gm go to shit, they really made thier bed, and the greediness and laziness of american unions are waht did it. No work ethic or pride in the job, they are there for the paycheck and thats it.
