DO NOT GO TO BUZZ OFF EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't stress enough how shitty buzz off is. do a search for alarms on tr and you'll see several threads that I have already posted my horror stories from. If your car needs a simple fuse replaced, don't let buzz off even look at it, even if they pay you.

CC might be your best bet if you don't have the ability to do it yourself. If you have the ability to do this yourself, then I would definately do it yourself.

Our school system turns out a high volume of students, does that mean they have a clue? A company that does a high volume in a certain product means exactly one thing, they are making money for the manufacturer. Dei is a good product, but when their own authorized dealers can't follow the instructions and constantly fuck up an install, I have to question their screening process.

buzz off does a high volume due to 2 things, they advertise which brings in first time customers, and they talk a good game until you pay them which is why a majority of there business is not repeat customers. Of those repeat customers, most of them are to dumb to realize the screw job they are getting. Brandon ford is in the top 5 in sales for the ford company ( according to their advertising), does that mean they have a good product or service? not at all, it is well known the that brandon ford is the place to go if you want to get screwed. Quantity is not an indication of quality.

Buzz off's employees are rude, inconsiderate, poorly qualified to crimp wires together much less install and troubleshoot the system that they just hooked up wrong. I went to them because they were reccommended by a co-worker, they are a hack job, and I found out that the co-worker had a shitty install and was too stupid to know how crappy his install was. They charge for parts that they don't install. They don't feel that it is their problem if you can't figure out how to work your alarm, even when they refuse to give you any of the instructions that came with the alarm you paid for.

Bestbuy does alot of business as well, however after hearing the horror stories from an employee about how they have tried to screw over customers on the installs, I wouldn't go there either.

If you have any ability, or have the capacity to learn, DO IT YOURSELF. you are the only one that cares about the quality of your install. The installers don't give a shit, their car works just fine, if yours doesn't then bring it back tomorrow and they'll see what they can do to rig up something that works. Automotive wiring is far from rocket surgery, and if you can use a calculator and understand how a toggle switch works, the rest is easy.
