yellow or clear (fog/driving lights)?

The front nose im getting for one of my 7s has to square holes for fog/driving lights. I have a few questions on it. Is the visibility still good on the "amber" lights compared to "clear"? I was thinking of these: If anyone has some experiance with them let me know. anyone has amber fog lights on thier cars?
|
I'd say, yellow...but thats just me.
|
I personally want the yellow,But I dont want to spend the cash if it wont help compared over the white light.
What are the advantages, disadvantages over each other? |
The white would definately show more the yellow just looks better.
|
I need that style/size light for that nose.
Any other brand should I look into? |
Yellow is far better for poor visibility situations. the wave legnth of the yellow light is shorter than the white light. The shorter wave legnth allows the light to penetrate fog, smoke and rain better. Plus yellow does not reflect vack at you as bad as white.

+1.. yellow goes through fog better than regular light.. i painted my fogs and i can show you where i got it for only 5 bucks. PM me if interested

yellow worked much better for my on my old saab. took it out in some crazy fog and it gave me some nice visibility. plus it looked sick.
|
dam thanks people, yellow it will be.
Now have any one of you messed with the sealed beam/halogen H4 conversions? |
