MEXPO 2005 Pics (not 56k friendly)

For the holidays I decided to go visit my family in Mexico. A few days into being here I saw an advertisement for 2005 Car Expo here, so I decided to drop by and see what was cooking. Here are the pics, i'll add more later as I get them uploaded. A few didn't turn out so well. Enjoy

First up is a Shelby GT of sorts. Looks like it's built on the Ford GT Supercar platform.

The Ford GTR was just sick...

Another ford, this time a cosworth motor on one of their indy cars...I think

Jeep had a sweet concept car (er...jeep) called the hurricane. All Carbon Fiber and powered by not one but two Hemi's. One in the front and one in the rear, sure to be a fun ride if they ever make them.

Here are some more,

This is Chryslers Firepower. It looks like a Viper with different clothes, Not sure if it shares the same powerplant.

One of the nicest cars there was the CLK DTM Mercedes, the lighting wasnt so good over the car so some pics came out darker.

Maserati showed off their MC12 Supercar, It's fugly but fugly is still fast.

This is the last set, I'll upload the Ferrari and the M6 Pics later

They had a track ready hatchback from a spanish (as in from spain)manufacturer called "Seat" see-ah-t. They have some very slick looking hatchbacks, Too bad we dont get them in the states

Porsche was also there in full force with their new Cayman, but i cant get enough of the Carrera GT. I dont like red though.

They also had a race ready Evolution.

and of course this wouldnt be complete without pictures of my two younger cousins

Nice pics man. The Maserati is actually a Ferrari Enzo that has been rebodied a bit. Maserati wanted to get into racing and that was the best way for them to do it.

Yeah, It looks more like race car than the enzo does, its all wild looking, the worst thing really is the two tone color scheme. Maybe its fast enough to outrun its own bad looks
