Junk man,scrap man?

Does any one know of a junk man, scrap metal man to come pick up car shells?

Im going to be buying another 7 soon,as I fugure what im going to do with it.
I didnt want to just junk or resell the shell,it would be better for me to use the parts towards 2 of my RX7s,in the long run.I will save alot of money.

So After I take all the body panels and interior out.I might even take the rear end and front suspesnion. So I might not even be a rolling chassis.Does anyone who will pick the shell up?

Title will be included, and its clean.

Check the yellow pages. I had a friend get his camaro picked up from his house after he stripped it.

Most junk yards will if you call 'em. I sold a non-streetable '88 Delta 88 for $68 to Copher back when they used to be down in St. Pete.

There are a couple of guys that advertise in the classifieds in the SP Times. I can't remember who I used a few years ago, but I think they were tied to a salvage yard. Ask them if they require a tiltle to pick it up tho, some wont.

I will have the title when I get the car, thats not a problem.
My concerns are,
How are they going to get it out, when its not a rolling chassis.

Will they charge me?

Theres alot of guys who do it for free, and just use a comealong to drag it on a trailer. But i dont work in autoshops/or the dealership anymore. So I dont know whos out there.

Thanks for the info.

I had a shell of a Charger that the axle housing was broken. It went sideways behind the tow truck, but he took it. I also had front clip for a old Barracuda, he had a helper with him load it up on the flat bed. I've never had to pay to get them removed, I figure as I'm sure they do, that they will get $$ at the scrap yard.

Ive seen a flat bed tow truck pull a lifted Toyota pickup with no front axle and no rear tires. The frame of the truck was digging into the ground, and that bigass winch was screaming

If you get the flyer in your mail they have a bunch of guys in the back in cars wanted that will pick it up for free.
