I use a dynomax resonator as my muffler. I get numerous compliments for nice sound from the most unsuspecting people (domestic fans) ;) I went with it to keep it quiet since I'm running 3" straight to the back end, which wasn't really loud to begin with. But I can keep it really quiet now when needed. Up top when I'm on it, it's still straight open and doesn't restrict much at all and it sounds very turboed from behind and not at all like a four cylinder. I can explain it all day long, but I guess you'd have to hear it to believe it.
