Default Where to get my speedometer calibrated?

Hey guys I got a ticket due to the guy that programs my car sending me the wrong tune. I need a shop to verify that it is off. I don't even need it fixed, as I now have a replacement tune.

Ice Cold Air has a location in Clearwater that can do it, but I am trying not to drive clear the fuck over there.

I'm in Ybor, but any place here in Tampa or Brandon would be great.

I doubt it got him a speeding ticket. I speculate it was a ticket for a smoking car because his car was running dead rich and pouring out black smoke. That's the only way I could see a bad tune contributing to breaking the law.

Righty-o Jordan.

Since my Impala has an LT1 in it, similar to the Corvettes and Camaros, and well, the Corvettes and Camaros have different gear ratios both in the transmission and in the rear end. Mix that with a different tire size, and then you get a tune in my car that is made for a Camaro, you end up with the computer thinking things are different, and the speedometer reads the wrong speed. Imagine that. Not that hard to figure out.

On top of it, the tuner is very very well known in both the F-body world, and the B-body world (Bryan Herter), and I was very disappointed that a mixup occured like that.

my bad on the ticket deal, I saw speedometer and ticket and put the 2 together.
I understand the gear ratio bit as I am putting a 95 lt1 into an 80 elcamino so trying to get the manual speedo to the electronic tranny is fun.

for the sppedo calibration try http://www.abbott-tach.com/era.htm thsi way if you chang any of the components in the future ( tires, axles, etc,) your covered

Ya, I have it covered with the guy that does my tuning. I just need a piece of paper from a shop that says it is off, I already have the replacement tune in, gonna switch em when I go to get it verified.
