I just moved to college and had to sell my car due to Financial reasons....(2 tickets in 6 months, and Can afford it anymore)....Have any of you had to do the same or something like that, and if you did, how much did you miss that particular car?....

I miss boost, I miss my car, and miss the car meets....

 

This is partly because I am bored out of my mind right now, and because I really do miss it...

 

I never had to sell a car to go to college but then all my cars sucked, except for the one that got killed by a dumbass that can't read STOP.

 

I meant selling for financial reasons........S-T-O-P?....That must mean right foot to floor!!!!

 

I "sold" my '91 CRX HF (great gas mileage) to a friend who needed a car. I sold it because I got 2 more cars lined up that were larger, and therefore hopefully safer in case of an accident.

Well after having not getting paid for that car ($1500, a great deal, even then), putting $4,000+ into a POS Tempo in about 4 years, spending $1200 on my Mazda, Another $500 or so in repairs to it, $400 on a wagon, $250 or so on repairs to it, $800 on a RX-7, $1500 on my Datsun, $600+ on repairs to it, $600 on the Buick, another $600 in tires and repairs to it, along with gas for about 20,000 miles a year for 4 years since.....how much do you THINK I regret getting rid of that car?!!!

No, certainly that car might not have lasted me another 4 years. But without knowing...oh yeah, I regret getting rid of it. Though I have enjoyed driving some of my cars, so all was not a waste.

Hey toby I never had to sell a car for that reason but ifs its any consolation......tim got at ticket last night on 275 and I even got one the other day from a fucking tarpon asshole cop who didnt care who i was or who i knew...lol

 

who fast was he going?.... damn dude, he is on a roll!!!

 

I had to part-out and sell my 94 z28 to pay for college and get out of debt. This was about 2 years ago, and i still miss the car.
