Default LS1 dream build....suggestions?

So, if I ever got around to it, I'd pick up an LS1, and this is what I'd do:

Goal: 7500rpm twin turbo LS1 monster

balanced, blueprinted block
forged crank, pistons, rods
all new valvetrain
cams (not sure which yet, of course.)
dry sump oil system
Twin GT30R turbos
dual 3" exhaust
big ole fmic.

suggestions?

btw..........I'd prefer to drop it in a classic chevy chassis. late 60s chevelle or malibu chassis maybe? With a T56 tranny possibly....

well, if I'm going to spend all that money on a build, I'm not going to skimp on an important setup.

Anyways, it's quite obvious I haven't researched this any yet.....but anything's possible with money right? hah.

Just dosen't seem neccesary on a drag car. It seems the money could be better spent elsewhere.

ahh yes, but it wouldn't be a drag car. Believe me, the donor car would receive all the best suspension upgrades....coilovers, sway bars, reinforcement braces. Of course the roll cage would help.

it'd be a street car able to tear it up on the curves as well (with the boost turned down for traction LOL!)

what fun is it to drive if you can only go straight?

like I said this is years down the road, but i could at least begin on the engine fairly soon.

Damn bro.. a TT ls1 in a 60's chevy body setup for handling..

Might as well get a z06 and build the engine and TT it..it'd be a lot easier to reach your goals.

all he would have to do is change almost everything in the suspension, if youve ever heard of Banks Racing, which im sure you have, well they are making a 68 Camaro that has 1100hp, and will corner better then most cars handsdown.

good thing about the classic cars is there is now such an incredible amount of stuff available to make them handle like modern cars, plus so many knowledgeable people and shops that I could contact, it's perfectly viable.

sure would be badass too, no?
