I believe the mustang blue is sonic blue on the new ones. Its the blue/purple color I'm talking about. Now I saw a Mazda 3 that looked like a darker color or is it the same paint code? If anyone knows please let me know, thanks.

Do you know or just guessing? Well Ford is using it on alot of cars now and Ford owns Mazda. I've just never seen them next to each other.

 

I think I may have my answer. I "built" a mazda 3 and it says strato blue so I guess they aren't the same unless they just rename them for each company so they don't seem cheap sharing colors.

 

Not the same color blue. Thats what my friend said at least (he works at cox mazda).
