Hey everyone, I just moved to tampa bout a month and a half ago. Just picked up a 240sx last week also. Let me know what you think, its a 90 with about 180k, interior is pretty clean less a small rip on the drivers door and a burn spot or two. Front left end has a slight dent, and right rear also. runs ok, has some slight surging between 2-3k rpm, but other then that seems fine. Tranny shifts a bit high at about 4k. But I plan on doing a s13 sr20 swap with 5 speed conversion anyways. Paint is horrable, but I will get that done when I do the body work.

Paid 450$ for the car, 600$ out the door. Sound like a good deal? I thought so, but I dont know what 240s in this area go for, so I snagged it. Any one have any suggestions on fixing the surging? I got a transmission computer from a friend who said it should fix the shifting a good bit. Can anyone suggest a place to get a s13 sr20 cheap? Also a place that can do the swap and 5 speed conversion with out costing an arm and a leg? I recently got my car worked on by XAT in Tampa. They seem to specialize in Nissan cars, since I was the only Honda there. Check out their site http://www.xatracing.com/main.htm and I'm pretty sure they can work on your car. Price was reasonable too.
