That is not the definition of a "pile of shit" so no your definition is not good enough...... maybe time consuming, but not a pile of shit. In addition, dyno'ing at Mastro is s a lot faster than driving to Orlando dyno'ing your car and then driving back to Tampa.

strict9, Mastro's dyno is not a pile of shit. In fact it's good enough for race teams to rent for an entire day. Go check it out, they are on the corner of George Rd and Hillsboro Ave. 813.884.7513

I live less then 20minutes from orlando so driving to Mastro to bolt my car up to some hub dyno is not faster for me.

Yea I guess a shop that uses an awd floor dyno to dyno tune the 900+hp fastest no nitrous awd dsm day in and day out isn't as good as a hub dyno by a car dealership.

We can let everyone come up with their own conclusions but as far as I'm concerned Mastro's dyno is ghetto rigging at it's finest. I will never put any awd car I ever own on that dyno as goes the same for about ~85% of the people I have talked to about awd dyno's. That's why there have been people sitting and waiting for an awd chassis dyno to come around and now that they are here they are taking their cars there then never even having their cars set foot on Mastro's property since they got their "good enough for race teams" dyno.

Oh yea, what race teams have been lining up to sign up for a days worth of dyno time? Almost everyone that I have spoke to that went to mastro left unsatisfied and said they would have much rather used a chassis awd dyno.

We are not talking about you going to Mastro, we are talking about a guy from Tampa..... he probably lives 20 minutes from Mastro.

The only argument you have made so far is that the dyno is time consuming, and yes hub dyno's are time consuming, but that doesn't make it a pile of shit nor is it ghetto rigged. Let the guy check-out the dyno if he thinks it's ghetto rigged or a pile of shit than he can drive to Orlando or Miami.

You didn't answer any of my questions. What race teams are lining up to use Mastro's dyno? What do they have tuner wise to tune cars for people who want to get them tuned?

Time comsuming is an understatement. Most likely by the time you pulled an awd car up to mastro to the time you start your first pull I could probably be on my 3rd tuned pull before your even done with your baseline pull on a hub dyno while I'm just puttin along on my rollers.

If Mastro is so good then why are there people from TAMPA driving an hour and a half to orlando to use their chassis dyno's? So like I said in my post before, let them choose. Either a profesional race shop with top of the line equipment and tuners who have built one of the fastest no nitrous awd cars or take it to some car dealership so they can hook your hubs up.

WHAT!?!!?!? Are you serious? CFT is only charging $125an hour for awd and free wideband till the end of the month. Bwahahaha.

Just by the looks what would you want?

A dyno just like the one at CFT...

Or a hub dyno like at the all mighty Mastro...

Sorry dude, but I think anyone would be willing to travel to CFT in orlando just to save the money, on top of the fact that an awd chassis dyno > hub dyno any day of the week.

LoL, I'm at work. I didn't give up.

Steward Appleby (of golfing fame) has rented the dyno and tuned his race cars at Mastro. I don't know of any recently teams. 300 for 3 pulls, dude how much do you smoke? I believe it's 150 for 3 pulls..... which is in-line for most awd dyno's.

So what you have said is you think it's too expensive and too time consuming.... sorry man that still doesn't make it a pile of shit. It sound like you have something against Mastro.

I have better things to do than sit on TR are debate dyno's with some guy from Orlando, so with that, you have your opinion and I have mine.
