Cool Say goodbye to bumpy rides

Check out Bose's (that's right) new suspension system.

Bose Suspension

The site also has some quicktime videos. I'm especially impressed with the speed bump and the passenger view ones.

Well if it's anything like their audio, it should be pretty shitty.

Have you guys seen the video? It's definitely impressive to watch the car go through a speed bump while maintaining a straight perspective for the driver.

And how much does it weigh???? Might be fine for a cadillac, but those pictures of components look pretty heavy.

Hello, electromagnetics and amplifiers.... may as well line your tires with lead.

Atleast its a step in the right direction, I'm pretty sure its geared more toward the wealthy luxury vehicles than lowered imports so I don't think either of those things would be a problem. Weight doesn't matter to a person looking for comfort and most richy people don't care if there cars are dropped.

But I'm sure in the future an aftermarket company will modify it to be lighter weight and for lowered cars, just might take time. This is the first version of the system anyways, I'm sure theres gonna be a ton of improvement over a couple years.

Either way I think its pretty cool.

Haha, comming from someone who owns a Supra. When it goes over a bump, the Lexus has the wheelgap of an Mk3

It is very impressive, especially the speed bump. You could pretty much go whatever speed you wanted over them, it affects you much less.
