dripping sound

What is that dripping sound you hear after you shut the car off on a hot day or so? I am thinking it is oil going back in the pan but sure doesn't sound like it

anybody have a clue?

you never heard it before? I don't always listen for it but if it is quiet you can hear it......

same thing with mine ... i always thought it was just because it was new. i hear the noise everytime i start it up and then shut it off. does it stop dripping after like 30 min ?
