Default Carbon Fiber Care

I have googled and searched and not found anything concrete. To care for exterior carbon fiber products, what are the best methods? I know wax, but use a cleaner and polish? Any suggestions would be great.

why dont you have it clearcoated. Then you just take care of it the same way as you do paint.

It is already clear coated, I did not know wether to use a cleaner wax and polish, or just polish.

I had mine clear coated a year ago and it's fading again. I beleive it's caused by the heat from the engine. I never put that heat sheild stuff on like the stock hood has.Either that or it's just a shitty quality hood.

Other than that keep it waxed

It is not the heat so much as it is UV rays. Trust me on this one, I know someone who works with carbon fiber every day. The less exposure to the sun the better.
