The weld between my muffler and hanger came loose, only problem is none of the local exhaust shops want to be bothered with it because my car is too low to fit onto a lift. Just wondering if anyone would be willing to weld this for me, it'd prolly be a 5 minute job. I can fit a floor jack under the back...so it can be lifted somewhat....for some reason none of the exhaust shops want to be bothered with it though. Let me know if anyone can help me out, it would be GREATLY appreciated. The muffler rattling back and forth is beginning to drive me crazy. Thanks!

what kind of weld do you want done to it??

probably a mig weld am i right???

unless you want to thermoplastic your exhaust by jig welding it...

 

I'm sorry...I don't really know much about welding. I figured there was only one kind to weld a muffler to a hanger.....

 

i would fix it for ya but i can't do it now... cause the apartment place im in right now wont allow that shit i already got warned and plus my garage is filled with my dads car... and i couldn't come to you cause my truck is down right now to...

maybe in a few weeks but not right now...

Well, after going to about 4 different places that couldn't get my car on the lift, therefore didn't give a shit and gave me the cold shoulder..I actually got lucky. I went to the Ice Cold Air on Hillsborough ave. and even though we couldn't get it up on the lift, the guy actually had the brains and took the time to just back my car in and get under it while it was on the ground. So everything is perfect again. And he wouldn't even take money for it. Very nice guy and I would highly recommend the place. So if anyone needs exhaust work done, Ice Cold Air on Hillsborough Ave..
