Problems with King Cobra Clutch
ok this sucks I spent a lot of money to get the new king cobra clutch system and it just blew up on me. Get this I am just driving down the road and my clutch went to the floor and I couldn't go into 3rd. I had one of my mechanics look at it and he took it apart and the brand new pressure plate was in shreds. so I had to put the original GT plate in (lucky I kept that) anyone ever had that problem? Got any ideas what I could do about it?

Who installed it? If it was you, then you probably F-ed something up. I run a KC too, installed it at home with a buddy. Never had a problem. You might wanna give Fordman a holler, he got me my kit at a great price.

If it was brand new the shop that sold it to you should stand behind it. If your stock PP is living in the car, you just got a bad pressure plate.

nope it wasn't me who installed it i had a guy that had been putting in my stuff for a while but you all are prob right just a bad PP.
