JMS is killing me!!!
Rant on...
Have any of you guys had a problems with getting a reburn through JMS? As of today, they have had my chip for 1 month. X( Before I sent the chip they told me it would only take 4 days to do. Well, around the 2 week mark I call to ask what was going on. They tell me they don't see the chip there and it must be with chris and he's working on it. The next day I call back and get the same excuse. Then I leave a message for chris later that day telling him to give me a call directly so we can get this settled. No call! I call the day after and talk to one of the other guys at the shop. He tells me chris got some info mixed up and wanted to make sure all the info he had was correct. I wrote everything about the car on the dyno sheet when I sent the chip to him, but o'well. He says it will go out the next day. A week goes by again and I'm starting to get upset. The past three days I've been calling and they say the chip will go out today. Then when I call back to see if the chip went out they say chris didn't make it in time for UPS pickup. This is where I stand now and JMS will be receiving even more rude calls each day that this goes on. Anyone got a horror story too? Maybe I'll go stand alone...Dan

Dave(Tampa99GT) had similar issues getting his chip. Chris Johnson is VERY hard to get on the phone, he is a busy man. But, Dave's end results were VERY good also. No company is perfect. You just got to take it in stride.

Chris does A LOT of work. Not making excuses for them, but the are busy this time of year. It does sound lke you have been patient to this point. Just keep on them. I had to make a few calls to get them on my re-burn. I usually find being rude doesn't get good results. Maybe use the approach that you need to get the car running by a certain deadline. I hope that you are as happy with the end results as I am with mine. BTW, I have never spoken with Chris. Monty is usually easy to talk to and seems to be a straight shooter.
