pulley removal on ford ranger
 

Okay, I have done this plenty of times with a socket wrench but for some reason when I put the socket and turn the tensioner it just spins the pulley and doesn't loosen the belt.


What am I doing wrong this time?

Also, is there a special tool for serpatine belt removal (loosen)
