If thats a factory Ford cam, I would guess by the numbers that its just a stock 302 cam. Possibly from a truck or van.

if its a mild cam/RV cam ill put it in. i have a set of 1.72 RR's so i think it would give me a little bit.
if not ill just keep my stock cam and put my fully ported E7's and RR's on

An 86 cam is E5ZE-6250-AA. Mustang specific parts always have that Z in the 3rd spot.
I honestly dont think its a Mustang cam,.. well not from an 86. 'E3' would designate 1983 or later if that were a Ford cam. With no Z in the 3rd spot it wasnt specific to a Mustang.

I checked my little database and came up with nothing. Does the person you got it from have any idea?

Do you have the engine it came from? Check the block numbers and find out what it came from.

yea i got the whole motor. its an 86 XXX block with flat top pistons, if that helps
and just emailed the guy and asked him. i asked him everthing about the motor but forgot to ask about the cam lol
i know it runs though, nice and strong.

also there is a Z on the shaft just under the the end piece that has the part number stamped
