This is something that the guys at All American could make short work of.
NA306Stang (Shaun) or Tiffiny (John), Tell em Hurst sent you. I promise they will take good care of you. Hurst |
LOL the "overdrive lever" (passing gear lever) dont hook to the shifter, it has a rod that goes from that lever to the carb. The outside linkage on the tranny is your shift lever

I know which one is the over drive lever and shift ... My problem is that I cant get the dam thing off ... the Z-gate instruction suck ... from what i see and Ive done I havent been able to pull it off ... Iam not that experinced with tranys. Correct me if I am wrong I need a new lever so that it will fit or I am a dum ass and there a special way to take it off that I dont know. to add to my flustration its a odd ball c4 that looks more like a c6 as the instructions and mounting hardware would work ... Have few tell me its a c3 but there not sure. I dont want to take it to someone thats going to rape me with some made up bull shit... I have the shifter mounted in the car no problem just getting it attached to the other end is kill me ....

If removed, I guess you could call it an " o shit" lever
