For a 93 or older 8.8 it would cost $110. For a 94 or newer with disk brakes, it's $135. Both of these prices are just for the labor. Any fluids or shims, if needed to set backlash, are extra. Rob has been installing gears, spools and posi units for years. Hope this helps you out. If you need, give me a call at the shop. 549-8255.

POWERRANGER92.......I know this isnt the correct way to do it but......... i bought a trac-lok carrier from a mustang and put it in without checking anything and i guess i was lucky but it works great.no whine or clunking. i used the shims from the non-trac-lok carrier and transfered them to the trac-lok. i just got lucky i guess.
