back spacing

Default back spacing

can anyone tell me what backspacing i need for welds my fox-hatch.i have rolled fenders and i think 5.5 backspacing with 275/50/15's on it and i just lost huge chunks off my brand new tires it is lowered but idk how much

15x10 needs 6.5"
15x8 needs 5.5"

Sounds like he has 15x8 with 4.5 BS. They work,. but not very well with wide tires. Will chew them up like described. 5.5 BS is the ideal for a 15x8 wheel.

The same back space can be applied to 16", 17" and 18" wheels,.. provided the front and rear are factory widths.

Didn't mention whether you have '94+ rear axle as they are wider than the fox body axles. Not that you can do anything about it since they don't offer a 6.5" backspaced 15x8.

or 8.5 backspacing with a 12 wide rim and a huge fricking hammer.
