Its Chasis Time !

First off I just realized that I spelled chassis wrong in the topic section of this post duh !
Here are some photos of my latest project on my Stang before I turn the wick up in the power department.
For those of you that do not know what the hell these pictures are of I am in the process of adding more strength to the chasis.
For those of you that have cars that run faster than 13.00s I would highly suggest having this done. It will keep you from tearing the floor boards away from the frame. It will also make the car stiff and launch hard as hell. I was running 1.6s in the 60 ft. before all of this bracing (sp) and the chassis was starting to show some very early signs of fatigue which will lead to tearing and severe damage to the car.
Let me know if you would like information on how to get this done to your Pony.

THIS IS UNDER THE REAR SEAT
ITS NOT PRETTY BUT IT IS VERY EFFECTIVE.

Homegrown project ? For the people that know how to dial in a rear wheel drive suspension for drag racing this is nothing new.
When the rear end and rear seat goes back in the car you will not be able to see any of the additional bracing.
Doing these reinforcements in any Mustang is very important. Most Mustangs that run a good 60ft time which is where 90% of the body flex comes in need these reinforcements so the floorboards do not tear away from the frame. My car had actually pulled the tack welds away from the frame under the rear seats already but had not torn the floorboards yet.
A friend of mine that builds race cars and chassis did the work. He also went to the Roy Hills school of drag racing for suspension set-ups.
If you want his number let me know.

I need to get enough power to actually use the bracing first lol! I know a little about drag setup but was broken in on circle track and road course knowledge of suspension setup.I might need a little schooling sometime.
