$28 for a friggin rear wheel stud for my Focus. Add another $70-80 for labor. Someone shoot me please.

how did you break it and why not install it yourself????

Because I have no clue how to tear apart a rear drum assembly and I also dont have a shop manual at my service. I also dont have the time or energy to do it.

it been a while since i messed with drums but i do beleive that you can leave the assembly together and/or on the car.....

The stud has to be pressed in from behind so it does require disassembly of the drum.

well---the old stangs were 4-lug so.....i guess the focus could be too...

you dont press in from behind goober..i know drum brakes.. yadd yadda. just hammer out the old one (once drum is removed) and insert the new one. put LOTS of wachers on the stud and get on OPEN ENDED lug nut. tighten lugnut untill stud seats properly. bam..youre done. (best when done with impact)
