Jack there should be a fuse for the headlights in the fuse box of the vehicle. Stupid questions I see you checked the fuses on the HID's but did you check that out the fuse in the power distribution box?
I dont know how you have those HID's wired up but I am asuming they are tied into that circuit.

they are hooked up into the stock wiring with thier own power and ground, 3 fusable links and relay. i have checked the fuses under the dash.(granted this was last night in the light of a sign in a parking light) but no fuses were burnt. that is why i am stumped..... thanks tho dave

did u check the fuse box under the hood.
The fuse box inside has the fuse for the parking lights and turn signals.
The actual headlamp fuse is out side. Go check there first before you run around with your head cut off tyrin to figure this out.

^ big problem on the foxbodys, not so much on the newer cars.
sounds like something in your add on stuff is the culprit. just check the wires that are going to the headlight relay with a test light and go from there.
*edit
do the high beam lights still work when you pull back on the multi-function switch?
