Tranni choices...
If I get my little 88 project Mustang back into works, I will probably be needing something besides the not so bullet proof stof T-5 I have so any ideas without killing myself in price and without needing it if I only have say hmm 300-350 rwhp?
I was at one point in time thinking of Tremec, but I was unsure if I'd need it for the little hp I'd have or am planning on having in the near future. It wont be built to speed overnight surely

astro performance makes t-5 kits that will support that much power and more

I ran 465rwhp and 600rwtq through a stock trany. It all depends on how you drive. If you play nice, so will the trany. If you drive it hard, then TKO or the G-Force internals. G-Force Transmissions and Long Shifters
Ryan also suggested the Astroperformance, but I don't have any experience with them.

Im talking slapping gears hard. If I drive it like a sissy, what's the point? I'll cut shit et's. I want that shift as fast as possible and forks dont last long on hard pounding pulls, neither do synchros lol.
Thanks for the answers, keep em coming if you got more.

I have the G Force T5, slammed the fuck out of the gears numerous times, and held up perfectly, as for my clutch, well thats a different story. The 5 Speed Street Tranny, with the helical cut dog ring option, and the steel shift fork, good for up to 800 ft/lbs. But that was 2 years ago, and now its just sitting in a plastic bag, waiting for my shit to be done. Cant go wrong with G Force.
