Technical questions

Whats better..
Forged or Cast
I beam or H beam

And what type of pistons do I want? (I know it depends on application, but whats what, dish/domed/flat what are high and low compression used for?)

Whats inline/twisted wedge?

Thx still learning.

You want forged internals with H beam for strength. Low compression for boosted applications (turbo, superchargers) High compression for all motor and nitrous use. Stay below the 11 to 1 range on the compression if its a daily driver/mainly street car, race gas is expensive. Twisted wedge is a term from trick flow it has something to do with the combustion chambers and how the air is moving in there. It makes for a better mix of air fuel, etc. which creates more hp.

I htink twisted wedge applies to the fact that the valves for the heads are rotated to a different angle, vs the typical small block ford head all the valves are just in a straight line down the head.
