How much torque?

Default How much torque?

Aluminum heads.MLS gaskets..ARP studs.....I am thinking 90 with ARP lube from what I see.

suggestions? I would do this in 3 steps.

follow arp's directions i personally go 45 on all first then final torque

ARPs website only give it for rod bolts , thats ghey. call adam

if that's what it says, some times the long bolts are different than the short, make sure to use thread sealer on the shorts and 30 wt or moly on the longs.

30 wt and moly use different torque specs.

I do 100 on the top on 90 on the bottom, with Moly. Heres a little hint also, but you might already know this, spray copper on the MLS both sides air dry for a minutes. Makes a huge difference on start up.

I'm on the laptop right now and don't have the link but go to the Trick Flow site and follow the links to the Track Heat Heads. It has all the torques that should be fine for yours too.

50%, 80%, 100% torque, in three steps. IF its the standard 302 type studd 90 is too much with the supplied ARP lube. Try 80. Thats what I tightened to.

arp studs i go 95lbs arp bolts i go 75-80

You tighten more with the oil. Less with the moly lube, though. Per ARP's directions.
