taking off oil pan ?????

Default taking off oil pan ?????

what all do you have to do to take an oil pan off of a 5.0 fox.....thanks derek

drop the k-member, lft the engine about 8" diconect tranny and lines of course, get you a 11mm socket, maybe 10, all depending, start unbolting

pull it out, turn it over, 7/16 and 1/2 socket, then reverse.

LOL, one of the biggest pain in the ass things there is to do on a fox. I took all the oil pan bolts out, took the nuts off the motor mounts, put a tranny jack under the motor and lowered the car til the tranny hit the fire wall and then it barely fit out. they do have a new design one that i got from ford and it fits in alot easier...
