no i havent taken it out to see if its the gear or the worm gear, didnt know how much was involved and if id have to take the cluster apart. I found a site that sells them for 25 each, but figured itd be easier to find someone that has parts and knows what they are doing so i dont have to buy a cluster....

i sell and install them, $75 installed, the ones i get are actually CNC plastic so they are a little better quality than most...it is a very common problem, they actually get brittle and break apart
