Please keep my secretary in your thoughts (donation link inside)....
If you hear or heard a news story this morning about a child that was killed in front of Brandon High School it was my secretary's son.
He just started there three weeks ago after transferring from another school since they had just moved to North Brandon a few weeks ago.
He was walking across the street in front of the school, made it across the street fine, but for some unknown reason turned back around to cross back, and was immediately struck (killed instantly).

My secretary is a single mom with a younger child too.
Anyhow I can not imagine loosing one of my children, I do not know how I would go on so I can not imagine her grief right now.
Please say a word for her tonight or keep he in your thoughts, she is going to need them for a while.
In the mean time I am going to try and take up a collection for her, if you would like to give a little something to someone that does not have much and really needs help now please Paypal it to me and I will transfer it and give her the cash along with your name.

Yea, I herd about it today at school...I go to Blloomingdale and my friends mom sent him a text...School is going to suck there for some time now. I know when my friend was killed in his car accident this year, school was wierd because the teachers didnt really know what to do and everybody was crying for days...it sucks

I agree I dont know what i'd do if i lost one of my kids, our prayers go out to her.

My next door neighbor is 71 and lost her daughter to cancer about 5 months ago and about 3 weeks ago she lost her son and husband in a car accident. Now she has no one 
The other night I invited her over for thanksgiving and during the night sometime she said "I don't know what I did to deserve this but I'm sorry"

Thoughts and prayers go out to her. It is sad that every year we hear of that happenig here. It would be nice if the powers that be did something about the speeds by ALL of the schools. I can not imagine loosing a child.
