Default Finally digging in..

Long road ahead, but finally started digging into the 70 Fastback after having to sit on it for almost 2 years.
Everything looks pretty solid underneath right now, going to pull the motor this weekend. Hope to have it stripped and ready for media blasting after the first of the year.

I had pulled the windshield trim, wiper motor/arms, trunk lid, rear valance, hood and a few other misc items after this pic..

Getting a little colder up here now (39 deg right now), so we'll see what other major advancements I make in the near future..

Derek

Family is enjoying it (especially the cheaper home owners insurance, auto insurance, etc... ) and everyone is doing well.
Chance wants to help on the "race car" (as he calls it) whenever I'm out in the garage.
Overall things are busy, but very good. Thanks for asking.
How about yourself?

looks good..i would say toss a space heater in the garage and have at it man..theres not alot of stuff u can do when theres 3 feet of snow outside.

whats it like to find work up there is it booming or is it slow..i've always wanted to sort of move there and with all the damn tracks closing down it seems like it might be sooner then later.

depends on your field, the area where i am at is growing exponentially fast. not much in the way of tracks around here, but huntsville is only an hours drive.
and i've already got the space heater.. does fairly well, but not going to have a whole lot of snow, just cold...
