Before 6:00 yesterday the body was un touched......woot

The rust by the rear window im worried about....After getting underneath it today it seems like the frame is pretty solid....and so is the trannie tunnel which means i will do the floor in halves and just leave the tunnel (which will also save me about 400 bucks)


































All in all....i have quite the bit of work ahead of me... i will keep yall posted... after i get done blowing money on getting the body squared away (which will include a new 21 circuit wiring harness from painless wiring including hookups for powere windows/locks/ elec fan/ elec fuel pump all pre wired into a new fuse block with blade type fuses, sub frame connectors and some other little body mods....then i will start on the windsor....but for now i need to do the impossible....make the rust sleep :_badass:

Im about 90% sure that i will keep the paint and stripes the same color... i too will be spraying the interior, engine bay and undercarraige black...everything will also be coated with a rust preventor before the paint.

Im also going to use a boss 429 hood scoop too...it iwll look good when done it will just take me some time....before i even buy ONE piece for the new motor...i will have this car show room clean all wired up and ready to drop the motor in and go. it is going to be one helluva job lol but it needs to get done...AND i want to learn anyways...i figure a good way to learn how to weld will be the seams that no one will see on the interior etc lol

when its all said and done i hope you all will be amazed...i have NO idea how long it will take me....but when im done it will be nice....complete and will be VERY well done...the car will have a BRAND new custom wiring harness, all the interior AC stuff will be gone. all the rust/leaks will be delt with...the car will have new carpet and new seats alog with some other nice interior mods i plan on doing...power windows/locks etc

Im also going to make a custom rear seat delete. and under neath it where the back seat used to be will be where the new fuse block will go...also the battery and starter solinoid will be mounted into the trunk....ah i cant wait till its done

good luck with it. I've got a 1970 Fastback that i'm about to get started on. Only major cancer spot it has is the drivers side floorpan (which I got a replacement from the guy I bought it from). Had to go out to Vegas to get mine, but it's been a desert car it's entire life so little rust..

What caused the floor pan to rust? You may want to check the little foot vent...the window and the cowl

And yes john....those are camaro seats hahahaha
