Default need help

i just rebuilt my carburator on my capri its in running really rich and breaking up at high rpm's ....the carburator needs adjustment but i dont know how.....can some one help...thanks

what kinda carb?Most have 2 little flat headed knobs to adjust air and fuel mixture.

yeah and they should be open only about a half a turn to start if I remember...then tweak them....and make sure your floats are not getting stuck open...

its a holley 750 doable pumper ......i know about the 2 screws to adjust it but i dont know witch one is fuel and witch one is air......what kinda of fuel pressure should it be running at ??

Its a 750 on a 302?!!! Unless this is a realy stout motor, sounds like its over carb'ed to me.

Set your fuel pressure at 6 pounds.

Check your bowl levels so that fuel is just starting to run out when you pull the sight plugs.

Turn the adjuster screws all the way in and then back them out 1 to 1 1/2 turns and adjust from there.

well its not a stock motor its mild 306 and i always had this setup and the ran really good ....good numbers too at the track
