Exclamation No Power to Fuel pump??

I am putting my brother car together and it was a 4cyl. I have a harness from an 89 and the car is a 89. Any clue why I would get power to the pump? I have checked the pink/blue wire and it has no power and that is the one from the computer. Does the computer power the pump? or what else should I check before spending the money for new box? PLEASE HELP IF ANY IDEAS

try the inertia switch over the left rear tail light, or you could have a bad fuel pump relay itself.

does your chassis harness have a pump relay in it? under the drivers seat ? or is the F/P relay under the hood?

If you have power coming from the ignition, then check under the drivers seat. There is a lil black relay there. Take a small wire, strip both ends. Jump out that relay and see if you have power then.... Those relays shit the bed without any notice at all. 1 minute the car will crank and run fine. The next it wont start at all...

Ok there is only one wire with power under the seat. VERY WEAK VOLTAGE! I assume that it is for the sending unit. The relay will click when tested but I put different relay in and still nothing. Yes the inertia switch is fine and wired. I even took the one out of my coupe and put in his and still nothing. I dont need the inertia switch in mine but it is different then his. My car is a 90 and his is 89. Is there a difference in the chassis harness from 4 cyl to 8?

I would but that kinda cheesy, and with the money that is in this car I think I would rather it be right. I did hot wire to make sure it wasn't a junk "new" pump LOL. Had that happen once too, new bbk pump and it was junk.
