I have a 94 gt 5spd has 3.73gears, centerforce dual friction clutch, long tubes with tru duals

i ran 9.7 in the 1/8 with that set up with a 2.4 60 ft at 77mph

now i am on a 125 wet shot and nittos what should i be able to pull in the 1/8 and 1/4?

whoa!!!

you should be in the 9.60 range with a stock 94GT, with a 2.4 60' time sounds like you need some practive before running the juice. even still using those numbers with the juice on and sticky tires mid 8's should be no problem.

I don't really think you'll have a traction problem at lakeland because of the track, not with that kind of horsepower, I have seen many a guy run 1.4 60 foot times and pull the tires with street cars out there.
it has more to do with your set up and driving style
with stock suspension, dumping the clutch and spraying nitrous, if you are unfamiliar with it you'll run about a 12 second 1/8th
with nitto, slipping the clutch a little, learning the right launch rpm, power shifting the heck out of it, you could pull about an 8.20 at about 85 mph I would think.

don't get silly and think nittos are slicks, dump it spraying at 5,000 rpm and think you won't spin though. also, don't drop the air pressure in the nittos' like you would slicks, they won't hook that way.

Or just stick with 125 and jet it right. Same result except you're not changing plugs after every couple of runs

Definitely need to work on technique, I can't see any reason that you couldn't run a low 8 with a clean pass and traction.

With a 1.6 60ft you should be able to see an 8.0. I have seen it done on a stock lx w/ just exhaust and a 410 gear. The show (Vince) has done it a few times. Then again he can drive and has lots of track time.
