EFI to Carb

I need some help guys, im wiring the car for the carb setup. I was told I could retain the TFI ignition. So I bought an Accel TFI distributor. I was told last night that I have to use a vaccum advance distributor. WTF? Other than carbedmustang where can I get some tech info on this?

Been there bro, but there is nothing about keeping the TFI module setup. How did you do your swap?

you cant without alot of work because the advance is controlled by the computer. you'd have to use a crank sensor and some sort of computer to make it change the timing, cost you more to do than buying a new distributer.

Why don't you take back the accel distributor and pick up a nice MSD billet? Problem solved.

Ok, which MSD billet? Any more info on that?

exactly..

MSD-8582. Sucks too, I just sold one with a steel gear for a hydraulic roller cam with no miles.

If anyone knows how I can keep my TFI please chime in, I don't want to have to return this thing to summit for a vaccum advance setup
