Default Pics of the new HX

Wasnt hard to install, but like always i took like 134340398 breaks while working on it and tripled the time it should have taken me to install it. I painted the brackets to match the HX instead of leaving them black which i think looks better.

Another thing...how can you make sure the hx pump is working? I filled up the resivoir and then turned the car on, it then sucked down some coolant after about 30 seconds and i was there ready and waiting and filled it up. The liquid was moving def not still so i believe its working fine...just want to be sure.

Out of curiousity, what is the power difference in changing out the heat exchanger?

Don't be saddened if no "significant" gains by just adding the HX. It will, however, allow you to run more efficiently, and it'll keep the car much cooler, thus making the peak power through more abuse (increased operating temps are now not so much of a power robber). Check out some RedLine Water Wetter, throw that in the IC Reservoir. Also, there is an easy way to hardwire the IC Reservoir, to where it no longer runs only when the car is on/heated up. I had mine on a remotely mounted switch, that allowed me to keep the pump, pumping water through the IC, while the car was off - and I was out talking smack, attempting to catch another race for us, lol...

Installed HX looks dead sexy. Miss my '03 Cobra badddd.

yeah i dont expect much now. This is more for when i decide to run a smaller pulley and that little bugger starts spinning faster and creating more heat . Does look nice though
