i believe that a cast iron intake is better than aluminum holding the block together since aluminum starts to flex which weakens the upper half of the motor, so the girdle comes into play as a band aid to hold top half from flexing but is it worth the money putting into a stock block?

Thats really the only thing I worry about. But then again if I was worried about breaking stuff, I wouldn't race my car period. I think my car will go 10.20 with the stock motor after everything else is done on my car ei: drivetrain, suspension, fuel system, meth injection, and engine management system. It should go 10.70 right now if I can get it to hook then I'm gonna work my way up in boost until something breaks.

blah blah blah... if this... if that.... I bet you'd run a 10.10 with a tail wind too.....

You ran what you ran and it wasn't a 10.20....

LOL tough crowd. I was hoping you would have gotten your combo straightened out before you tore it apart. All always like to see how far people can go on stock parts. What do you think it will go with the new motor? I can't wait to get my suspension done, this thing is down right scary trying to harness 700 lb ft of tq through stock suspension. I deffinately think I'm gonna get an adj rear antiroll bar so it will leave sraight.
