I have GT40p heads and I'm not sure what long tubes are on the car when I bought it but I'm not able to pull out the spark plug cuz the header is in the way, do I need to switch to a shorty or is there another long tube that I need to buy?

 

No, not really. Just temporarily sidetracked.

 

I dont wanna do that everytime, besides I can see where the previous owner hammered away on the header to get the plug in there the first time, its all dented.

 

Sometimes you will have to use a regular wrench and not a sparkplug socket to get em out. And also notice that spark plug sockets have a hex end as well so you can use a wrench on them.

 

BTW sounds like the previous owner stuck headers on for regular GT40 heads and not the Ps

 

Yeah, thats exactly what happened, what long tubes will I need to get to avoid this prob?
