Just when I thought things could get no worse with my car

Has anyone ever broken a shifter arm in half before?

Well, I have. happened on my way to class this morning. Broke right at the top bolt. So ive been shifting all day with the little rub off the shifter base and my thumb is complete raw and swollen.

does anyone have a stock shifter handle or maybe a hurst one they want to get rid of cheap? ill go to BOC if i have to, but id like to see if anyone had one laying around first

Hey Donnie, I think I have a stock shifter handle laying around or possibly an aftermarket one. Let me look around the garage.........

Thanks man, Im still in shock that i did that. I wasnt even shifting hard (thank god), its like it just fell off....

Looked around the garage, couldn't find anything. And I know I have a pro 5.0 handle floating around here somewhere..........

I have a Pro5.0 handle laying around, I bought a new custom billet handle a while back. I work tonite, but will have it available tommorow. meet me some where tommorow in the afternoon around 4 or 5 or early in the morning around 8 in South Tampa. And its yours. Probabaly around the Hooters or Sonic on Gandy. Call me, if I dont answer, leave amessage, saying you will be there,Later

I have a stocker at the house. If you need it, I can bring it to work tomorrow and then we can meet up.

(PS. The Ripper is a good shifter! That is the one I have in the black car.)
