Man what a tedious process this has been, first all of the research on what parts / specs to get then I did not think I was going to have to baby sit all of the parts suppliers this much. But it is my first ground up build so I did not know what to expect. :crack:

Looks like it is about time to start the build, my guess it is not up and running until mid February.

Anyway here are some pics. of the pistons that took ten weeks to get.

any part reaso why JE? what comp? what rwhp are they suppossed to be good for?

J/E short skirt, forged, Polished, big ring lands and they appear to be set up for free floating wrist pins.

I see a slight dish as well

+1 on the big ring lands and polishing to avoid any hot spots I assume... Don't know how crazy I'd be about having the wrist pin that far up into the oil ring though.. Theyv'e got some big valve reliefs too.. not that you're worried about compression, but those look pretty deep...
They look nice Scott, maybe I should post up a few pics of my spare pistons.. Not as pretty, just your standard Venoilla dome..
