Removing ac from a 88 5.0

Default Removing ac from a 88 5.0

I was wondering if I can get away with out the ac eliminator pulley and just start ripping off parts, and does anyone have a cold air for a 88 motor.

I think you need a pulley there otherwise the belt won't run correctly.

You will have to pick up an AC eliminator kit so you can rout your belt. Some are just a pulley that replaces the compressor and others like I have move the power steering up to where the AC was. Danielson has a pulley setup for sale in the classifieds section as we speak.
